Reducing risk of SSI by minimizing the airborne microbial contamination – The Opragon has been found to reduce SSI. Each SSI is a catastrophe for both the patient and provider, often leading to long and resource-demanding treatment. 

Reducing carbon footprint by 50% by optimizing airflow in surgeries that are less prone to infection – Keeping operational costs at a minimum, while maintaining exceptional air quality. 

Supporting antimicrobial stewardship – Optimize the use of antibiotic prophylaxis by reducing an important SSI risk factor helps build resilience against antibiotic microbial resistance.

The world’s greenest hospital uses Opragon

Avidicare and Opragon are part of the project “Worlds Greenest Hospital” – a future-proof digital hospital created to showcase sustainable healthcare solutions from the Nordics to the world.

The hospital will contain about one hundred of the greenest solutions available for healthcare. All the products and services in mind are already installed at Nordic hospitals and healthcare facilities, on the market and ready-to-be-used today.

The Opragon features a low energy use without compromising efficiency, which is unique compared to any other ultra-clean ventilation system.
